Trim Levels
The 2024 Kia Forte comes in five different trim levels. Along with features and style, the trims also differ by engine and powertrain. Here's a breakdown of the five Kia Forte trims and what you can expect from each one.
LX
The LX is the base model of the 2024 Forte family for San Angelo, Brady, Midland and Monahans TX drivers. This trim has all the basics and a reasonable price tag. With the LX, you'll get wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a four-speaker sound system, and an eight-inch touchscreen display. Controls are mounted on the steering wheel for convenience, and the LX has multiple driving modes. The exterior features 15-inch wheels made of steel.
With the LX also comes a standard set of safety aids, including a lane centering system, lane departure mitigation, forward collision warning, driver attention warning, and automatic emergency braking.
LXS
The second trim level in the 2024 Kia Forte family adds more, including larger 16-inch wheels with an alloy finish. The back seats have a split-folding design to maximize cargo space as needed, and the interior has upgraded materials for an overall classier and more sophisticated look and feel around Midland, TX.
Some features are optional for enhancing the LXS, including heated exterior side mirrors and more safety aids such as blind-spot intervention, safe exit assist, and rear cross-traffic warning.
GT-Line
With the GT-Line comes even more features and amenities. This trim level adds the contents of the LXS package along with 17-inch alloy wheels and full exterior LED lighting with LED fog lights, tail lights, and running lights. The interior adds some features, too, including cloth-covered sporty seats with suede leather inserts, a leather-wrapped sporty steering wheel with a flat bottom, navigation, a six-speaker sound system, an electronic parking brake, and a larger 10.25-inch touchscreen display. You'll also get more safety aids with this trim level, including adaptive cruise control with lane-centering technology that maintains a safe distance between your car and the car ahead and a pedestrian and cyclist collision avoidance system.
Several packages are available for this trim. The first adds a power-operated sunroof, a wireless charging pad, LED interior cabin lights, and an upgraded Harman Kardon sound system with eight speakers.
The second package gives you a power-adjustable driver's seat, synthetic leather seats, climate-controlled front seats that are heated and ventilated, a USB charging port in the second row, and air conditioning vents in the second row.
GT
If you're looking for a sporty Kia Forte, the GT is your answer as you drive around West Texas' from San Angelo and Brady to Midland, TX. The GT has a standard turbo engine, and you can choose between an automatic or manual transmission system. Otherwise, the GT adds to what the previous trim offers with standard LED headlights, a sport suspension system, a sport exhaust system, upgraded brakes, and larger 18-inch wheels. The interior has some upgrades as well, including a wireless charging pad, a rear USB charging port, and seats with black synthetic leather and cloth that have red stitching accents.
GT Manual
The GT Manual has a standard manual transmission along with LED interior lights, heated front seats, rear parking sensors, and a power sunroof.
